  1. How can I obtain the Application form of BIM?
    • By sending a Demand Draft for Rs.1400/- (SC/ST Rs.920/-) along with two self-addressed slips by regular mail to BIM address given below.
    • By online registration at www.bim.edu with an option to pay either by Demand Draft or by Credit Card.  For Credit card payments an amount of Rs.1,520/- should be paid instead of Rs.1400/- and (for SC/ST Rs.1000/- should be paid instead of Rs.920/-)
    • Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Bharathidasan Institute of Management” payable at Tiruchirappalli
    • Application forms can also be obtained from IMS branches, CARRER LAUNCHER branches and Selected baranches of AXIS BANKS by paying cash of Rs.1400/-
  2. Whether BIM accept the scores of GMAT, XAT or any other similar test for Admission?
    • For 2010-2012 Admissions, BIM is accepting only CAT 2009 scores.
  3. What are the Important dates for applications?
    • Online Registration Starts from : 01st December 2009
    • Issue of application forms: 01st December 2009
  4. What are all the specilisations offered by BIM?
    • Finance, Systems, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations.
  5. What is the total fee structure?
    • Total Programme fee is approximately Rs.7,50,000/- for the two years, excluding hostel expenses approx. Rs.16,000 P.A. (likely to be changed)
  6. Does BIM arrange for any educational loans?
    • State Bank of India and Indian Bank will provide education loans to BIM students. They will give assistance for all the necessary documents. Bank people will be available at BIM campus at the time of registration to clear the doubts of the students as well as the parents.
  7. Are there any quotas available for SC/ST candidates?
    • Yes. As per Government Norms.
  8. Is there any age limit to pursue MBA programme in BIM?
    • There is no age limit to apply for BIM.
  9. Does BIM have any separate quota for NRI candidates?
    • No BIM does not have any separate quota for NRI candidates
  10. What about the Placement Scenario?
    • BIM is having a placement record of 100% since inception. The average salary offered by the companies for the 24th (2007-2009) Batch is 7.02 lakhs and highest salary is 10.34 lakhs.
