True learning does not occur unless and until knowledge is shared.
Therefore, a bi annual journal will be published by the
Centre. The research papers and articles from
students and faculty on current topics will be published. Articles
from the corporate world will be published. Book review will also
form a part of the journal.
The
journal consists of three parts, the first part being the research
articles from students, faculty and research scholars. Second part
is Perspectives, and the third part is the book review.
The papers published in the journal are peer reviewed, by a panel
comprising of personalities from academia and industry. It publishes
original research-based articles, perspectives, cases on topics of
current concern and book reviews in all areas of Management.

Guidelines for Contributors
Journal of Contemporary
Management Research is a bi-annual journal. The papers published in
the journal are peer reviewed. It publishes original research-based
articles, perspectives, cases on topics of current concern and book
reviews in all areas of Management. A general guideline for
contributors is listed below.

Manuscripts should be of approximately 10,000 words (20 to 40
A-4 size pages, typed in double space). Manuscripts should be
submitted along with a soft copy or bye-mail with the cover page
bearing only the title of the paper and author's names,
designations, official address, e-mail and phone/fax numbers.

Article
should accompany an abstract of about 150 words.

Tables and
Figures: Their location in the text should be indicated as
follows:

Endnotes:
All notes should be indicated by serial numbers in the text and
literature cited should be detailed under reference in
alphabetical order of the surnames followed by year of
publications immediately after the author's name.

References
:The list should mention only those sources actually cited in
the text or notes. Author's name should be the same as in the
original source.

In the
text, the references should appear as follows: keller (2002) has
shown .... or Recent studies (prahalad 2002; Matthew, 2001)
indicate ...

Journal
references should be listed as follows: Khandwalla, P. N.,
(2001). "Creative Restructuring," Vikalpa, 26(4), 3-18.

Books
should be referred to as follows: Sugandhi, R. K., (2002).
Business to Business Marketing, New Delhi: New Age

References from Internet should be referred to as follows:
Hesterbrink, c., E-Business and ERP : Bringing two paradigms
together, October 1999; Pricewaterhouse Coopers., www.pwc.com.
For more than one publication by the same author, list them in
chronological order, with the older item first. For more than
one publication in one year
by the same author,
use small (lower case) letters to distinguish them (e.g., 1980a,
1980b).

Follow
British spellings throughout (Behaviour, not behavior)
-
Use of
numerals: One to twelve in words, thirteen and above in figures,
unless the reference is to percentages (5 percent), distance (5
km), or age (10 years old). Use 1990s and 19th century.
-
No stops
after abbreviations (UK, MBA). Use stops after initials (K. S.
Singh).
-
Use double
quotes throughout. The use of single quotes to be restricted for
use within doubles quotes, e.g., "In the words of Szell, the'
economic question' is today .... " Quotations in excess of 45
words should be separated from the text with a line space above
and below and indented on the left. Quotes should be cited
accurately from the original source, should not be edited, and
should give the page numbers of the original publication.

Capitalization should be kept to the minimum and should be
consistent.

Manuscripts that do
not conform to these guidelines will not be considered for
publication.
Manuscripts not considered for publication will not be sent back.
Those submitting papers should also certify that the paper has not
been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
