BIM has embarked on an ambitious journey of Research in contemporary management. In this regard the Centre for Contemporary Management Research(CECMAR) was inaugurated in November 2006.
The CECMAR proposes to promote the spirit of research amongst students and faculty members. The centre will also assist the ongoing research activities being carried on by various faculty members.
At present research is being conducted in the following areas:
- Consumer Behaviour
- Brand Management
- Emotions in the workplace
- Software Project Management
- Micro Finance
The CECMAR brings out a quality journal on a bi-annual basis starting January 2007. This Journal carries the ISSN registration. The flagship event of CECMAR is Athenaeum an International Conference to be held annually. Athenaeum ‘16 was held in February 2016.
