Summer Placements 2010 was a
testimony that BIM is indeed a unique B
school, providing value based education. The
summers process was wrapped up in record time with students securing exciting profiles in the areas like Financial Services,
Marketing, Consultancy, Human Resource Management to name a few.
Summers 2010 saw the participation of 50 companies from varied sectors each vying to take the cream de la cream of the students.BIM witnessed a good mix of regular as well as new firms making their presence felt.Some of our regulars who recruited this year were JP Morgan, Frost & Sullivan, Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) , CavinKare, Wipro Consumer Care (WCC), ISRO, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), ITC , Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC), ITW,Tamil Nadu News Print (TNPL) etc. Few of the new additions recruiting for summers this year were Google, Deloitte Touche,
Mindtree, NPCIL, Godrej , Hyundai Mobis, Big Bazaar, Aviva Life Insurance, Mahindra Holidays, Quantum Market Research,Redington, Bajaj Auto Finance (BAFL),Guardian Management Services, TVS & Sons and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
BIM has always been a happy hunting ground
for top notch government organizations like
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) ,Nuclear
Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) , RBI,
TNPL, TIIC who recruited students for their
projects. Top notch Financial services firms JP Morgan,Deloitte Touche recruited students for summers largely based on the superlative performance of BIM alumni in these firms.
BIM also managed to leverage upon the popularity of emerging firms by inviting MaxValue Online, Paripoorna Software Solutions and Identiti Design to participate and recruit in the summer placement process.
Summers 2010 concluded with a spirit of optimism stemming up from the much improved economic and market scenario and seeks to carry forward the momentum to the executive placements as well. |

by the superior nature of firms recruiting for summer projects.Summers 2010 saw the big names in the financial spectrum like JP Morgan, Deloitte, RBI offering projects in the spectrum of credit analysis, valuation and banking regulations, to name a few. Also well‐known corporates like BHEL, NLC, EXIM Bank, TIIC Wealthmax, BAFL, Wealth Advisors etc. recognising the high calibre of BIM students,handsomely. |

| Human resources transitioning to perform a strategic role in organizations was revealed by the insightful roles offered in the areas of determining motivational & empowerment needs, employee satisfaction needs, policy formation by firms like Hinduja Foundries, H& R Johnson and Bajaj Allianz, to name a few. |
| MARKETING |
| Marketing profiles saw a healthy influx of firms like Google, Frost & Sullivan, Godrej,CavinKare, ITC ,Wipro Consumer Care, Godrej,Big Bazaar, Nerolac Paints, Identiti Design,Novellsys Technologies, Mahindra Holidays,Max Value Online and Madison Media, pittedagainst each other, offering marketing, sales and market research profiles to the marketing whiz kids of BIM. |

| Summers 2010 saw renowned firms like Deloitte, TCS, ISRO, Mindtree and BHEL,among others, making offers for summer assignments. Some of the projects on offer were strategic consulting, system analysis, production management, workflow mapping etc. |

| The students have been able to secure challenging job positions in the highly competitive and reviving job market. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 40000 and the average figure stood at Rs. 18000. |
